We're here!!

Here's the short of it: Richard Carey had a job opportunity in Amsterdam so we took it, and after all the preparations and goodbyes, we are really here!
The flight over here was the question on everyone's mind. How do three and one year old boys act on a plane for nine hours?








Yep, Bateman and Louis ate, slept, and watched movies. So that means we all ate, slept and watched movies! The plane ride was a breeze, really. Louis took a few minutes to get settled for sleep, but it was nothing too difficult.

The difficulty came in on Sunday night around 11 pm, local time, when the boys decided they were awake and ready to play... Until 3 am. Uh huh, we were watching Charlie Brown Christmas at 1am because it was the only downloaded movie on the iPad and the Internet wasn't working.



So out of everyone who asked about how we were going to survive the flight, not one person mentioned jet lag and little guys. Fortunately I think we're officially back on track!



We have a few more days to explore before RC begins work on the first.  I think we have our apartment figured out and we'll move in on Sunday!



Everything is falling into place.

I promise to update the look of the blog as soon as our belongings arrive and I set up the computer!
