Photo Catch Up

Here's the story:  We're doing great!  It's been a while, so I'm going to tell you what we've been up to the past few months in a photo diary format.

First, here you'll see a few photos from the Mardi Gras Parade we hosted at our house.  You can see people decorated wagons and strollers for a loop around the cul-de-sac.  Too much family fun!

Some shots from a BEAUTIFUL Easter Sunday!

 

We love exploring Houston, especially the Heights area so we stopped at a cute little park a few weeks ago for some Sunday afternoon family time! 

Bateman turned 2 with a fun party under the Cheshire Cat pavilion at City Park in New Orleans.  His "Tauntie" Hannah was fabulous to dress as Alice in Wonderland with the Mad Hatter birthday boy and his sweet brother White Rabbit. 

 

After a month or so of candle blowing practice, he blew out the candle in his birthday Oreo shake on the first try!

Louis is here being adorable and agreeable and stylish!

Just another reason to love Texas... there's boiled crawfish you can pick up and bring home!!! We couldn't peel fast enough for Bateman.  He's going to have to work on those peeling skills.

And Louis Oliver is now 6 months old.  We celebrated his half birthday last week.  He is almost sitting up on his own and he's scooting all over the floor, but not crawling.  He adores his big brother.  Here he is pictured with Texas mosquito bites on his forehead!  :)
