We Celebrate Easter!

Happy Easter!
We are having an amazing Easter celebration! It's so great to celebrate the unfathomable plan of our salvation. Bateman doesn't quite understand Easter for all its glory, but he did partake in some traditional activities. The proof is in the pictures! Please don't judge us for putting him on the scary bunny's lap!
Love,
Valerie

Houses!

Well it's not officially official, but our house is "Sale Pending" and we put an offer on a house in Houston. It all happened on the same day! It was amazing! After searching through 34 houses in 2 1/2 days, we decided to put an offer on an older home (1987) in the Copperfield area of Houston. It's an established neighborhood with great trees and cute little parks. Our back gate would open up into a neighborhood park! Here's a link to pictures of the house. By clicking on the panoramas, you can get a better look at a few of the areas, if you're interested. While we were playing in the park, a young lady and her 10 month old came up to introduce themselves and ask if we lived in the area. I was thrilled to already have met someone in the neighborhood! Everything falls into place!

1375 Davis

It's here! House selling time. Our house went on the market yesterday. When the sign went in the yard, I sat by the window feeling sad. I am so grateful we've had our house. Richard Carey may disagree, but that's okay. He's done more of the work on it! There was a great open house yesterday with interested parties who may be making offers by Thursday. We shall see! To check out our staged and polished house, go to www.1375davis.com.

Introducing...

... Petit Pois! We are so excited to announce we are expecting our second baby around October 22! I am about 11 weeks along and am feeling well. Just a little tired. It was so great for all three of us to get to see the ultrasound yesterday. Bateman was staring at the screen and smiling. Not that he knew what it was, but he was still smiling. He also said, "Hi," while looking at the screen. Maybe he does understand it all! :) We saw the heartbeat as well as the baby moving those precious little appendages. Praise God for the opportunity to parent another precious life!
