There were indications that Bateman was getting really hungry! :)
So at five and a half months, we planned a perfect dinner for the occasion:
red beans and rice cereal.
Here it is! His first little solid(ish) meal.
His face is not wet because he's had any yet... it's just salivation!
He was a little puzzled, but was swallowing some of it.
Then he rubbed some in his eyes and didn't enjoy that too much.
After washing his face, he got back to eating! He would open his mouth as the spoon was nearing his mouth, then he would close his lips on it. Is that possible? When he was clearly finished, he started to make raspberries, sharing little splatters of cereal with the surrounding area.
We caught little clips on video so I may just have to post those!
