With Baby comes those who wish to love on Baby. For Bateman, this was so true! Auntie Anne Marie, Granna, and Grammie were the first to travel. Then came my dad, Ms. Janet, Hannah, and Amber. Then Paw Paw Dick, Nonna, and PaPa. Of course, they just all loved snuggling with him and staring at him and waiting on pins and needles for that long awaited burp! They also got to see the quick transition of Bateman from newborn with hair to one month old with no hair (on top). It was so quick! We celebrated Aunt Hannah's 19th birthday with a yummy red velvet cake. When Bateman was napping, our visitors turned into helpers and did yard work and house projects! We got free landscaping, roofing jobs, sliding door installation, etc. It was awesome!

But best of all, we just got to sit and visit and take it all in. This new life has entered our family forever and has left an imprint that has changed us all. Hopefully we never look at life the same again, but just keep growing and perfecting the way we love one another. Isn't that what it's all about?
We are so thankful for all of you!
Wow--that's a LOT of visitors! I went more than a little nuts having a lot of people visit after Gabriel was born. I hope you are holding up OK--it sounds like you are :) Bateman is so precious and adorable! He already has such a character-ful face! It took Gabriel a little while to get some less "generic baby" features. Blessings!
